Mr Johnson’s Supreme Tropical Fruit Rabbit Mix is a complementary feed for rabbits and should be fed together with unlimited access to good quality hay which is a good source of fibre and an essential part of your rabbit’s diet. A small quantity of fresh should also be fed daily and fresh clean water should always be available.

Feeding Guide
A rabbits diet should be made up of 85 – 90% of fresh clean good quality hay an essential fibre source and one that mimics their natural diet in the wild. Hay plays a vital part in dental wear and a rabbit’s digestive function. Feed this with a carefully measured portion of Mr Johnson’s Supreme tropical fruit Rabbit Mix as reccomended on the packaging dependant on the weight of your rabbit for a balanced diet. A daily portion of suitable fresh greens should also be fed, with fresh clean water being available 24 hours a day.
How much hay should rabbits eat and how often? Rabbits need unlimited access to fresh clean good quality hay 24 hours a day. No one likes dirty, stale food so yesterday’s hay can be used in their bedding area or thrown away and a nice fresh pile of hay should be available daily. Remember to check their hay during the day to ensure they don’t run out and have access to it 24 hours a day, rabbits will continue to graze throughout the night.
